Celebrating California's Central Coast Landscape
The San Luis Obispo Plein Air Festival is in its ninth year and is one of the premier Plein Air competitions in California. Fifty artists were juried into this years show and will paint in San Luis Obispo County for one week before turning in their paintings for awards and sales. A gala party for collectors and patrons will be held friday night from 4:30 PM to 6 PM at the San Luis Obispo Art Museum. A public "Art After Dark" gallery walk will be open to the public after the collector party. Sales will begin Friday evening and continue through Sunday (Oct 3) at 4PM. A quick draw event will also take place on Saturday morning ( Oct 2) from 9 AM to 11 AM near the art museum.
