Christin Coy and I live our lives together sharing a passion for plein air painting.
"SIDE BY SIDE" is our first gallery show exhibiting paintings with one another.
Traveling around the Bay Area, we usually have no trouble agreeing upon a favorite location or exploring to find a new one. We can quietly paint for hours in our individual styles and produce unique works reflecting our lifetime of creative experience. Christin usually prefer painting vistas with mountains or water while I prefer trees, rocks and details.
We learn new things from each other along the way and sometimes our styles even merge as we continue to grow as artists.
