MONDAY OUTDOOR PLEIN AIR CLASS

• Class will consist of a brief lecture and/or demo
• Creating your own painting • Individual guidance
• Four sessions per class for $120 (if paid in advance) with one make-up allowed
• Drop in guests are welcome at $35 per session
• Class will continue through Summer with occasional schedule changes.  

Monday - March 15, 2010 • 10am-1pm
Corte Madera Creek
Take the Sir Francis Drake Blvd. exit off Hwy. 101 and make first left then left again behind the fire station. Park at the end of the lot by the Marin Rowing Club.  Meet on the pathway by the creek at the Rowing Club dock. 

Monday - March. 22, 2010 • 10am-1pm
Pacheco Pond, Novato
Take the Bel Marin Keys Exit off Hwy. 101 and go east. Meet at the parking lot on the long stretch of marshland road on the right side of Bel Marin Keys Blvd. on the way out to Bel Marin Keys residential area.

Monday - April 5, 2010 • 10am-1pm
St. Vincent's School
Take the Marinwood Exit off Hwy. 101 and go east. Meet at the parking lot directly in front of the building.  Great old historic building with nice Eucalyptus groves and other views.

Monday - April 12, 2010 • 10am-1pm
Nicasio Town Square

PLEIN AIR WORKSHOP

• Class will consist of a painting demonstration
• Creating your own paintings  •  Color / Design / Brushwork
• Individual guidance  •  Group discussion 
Be prepared to paint one or two plein air pieces.  Bring 2 small canvas boards or canvas or gessoed panels but not larger than 8x10 or 9x12 inches. Must have an easel set-up, palette, towels, paints, water, lunch, hat.

Sunday - April. 10, 2010 • 10am-4pm
The Cheese Factory - West Marin / Petaluma
Park in the main lot and meet by the pond and picnic tables.  They have bathrooms, great cheese and edibles.  Lots to paint in a convenient and beautiful setting and there is even an art gallery.  Bring lunch or you can purchase sandwiches or cheese/bread there.  Here is a link to their website for info and directions.  www.marinfrenchcheese.com
